Development of Electric Vehicles and BMS Technologies
The performance, range and safety of electric vehicles (EV) are fully controlled by the Battery Management System (BMS). BMS is a complex structure that tracks the voltage, current and temperature of thousands of lithium-ion cells at the level of milliseconds.
In future BMS systems, wireless communication (Wireless BMS) technology now comes to the fore. In this way, complex cable bundles in the battery pack are eliminated, vehicle weight is reduced and production process is simplified. In addition, artificial intelligence algorithms extend battery life by predicting the aging processes of cells.
As Ansal Komponent, we have a wide portfolio of solutions for microcontrollers and analog front-end (AFE) chips that comply with automotive standards (AEC-Q).
